Notes / Instructions on how to opt out
Opt out is in app only.
- Swipe from the left to bring up the side menu
- Tap the cog Settings button in the top left
- Tap on the Privacy item in the Account section of the menu
- Toggle ‘Personalise my ads’ to off
NB. Waze actually gives you an explicit choice to make when signing up about whether you want personalised ads or not. It is separate to the consent given to the rest of the privacy policy. This is good!
